April Sees Major Industry Exhibitions Gather, Driving Both Technology and Market for Pulp Molding Equipment

In April, the pulp molding equipment industry welcomed two key exhibitions, bringing together cutting-edge global technologies, intelligent equipment and innovative applications, serving as a core indicator for the industry’s green transformation and intelligent upgrading.

From April 15 to 17, PACKCON 2026 China Packaging Container Exhibition grandly opened at Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center. As a comprehensive trading platform for packaging containers, the event concurrently hosted the 2026 Pulp Molding Innovative Application Technology Forum, focusing on advanced technologies such as flexible manufacturing, dry direct pressing, and fluorine-free oil resistance, attracting over 30,000 purchasers and industry professionals. The exhibition zone showcased high-end equipment including fully automatic production lines, AI intelligent inspection, and digital twin factories, covering eight terminal fields such as food, electronics, automotive and pharmaceuticals, realizing efficient integration of forum discussions and on-site demonstrations, providing a core channel for equipment enterprises to connect with global high-quality resources and expand high-end markets.

The parallel-held Plant Fiber & Food Packaging Manufacturing Technology Exhibition concentrated on pulp molding equipment and eco-friendly materials, presenting intelligent solutions covering the whole process from pulping and molding to hot pressing. It highlighted low-carbon, energy-saving and high-capacity automatic lines, helping enterprises reduce costs and improve efficiency in line with the "dual carbon" strategy.

In addition, the IPFM International Pulp Molding Industry Exhibition released latest cooperation trends in early April: Finland’s Fiberdom and Germany’s Kiefel have reached a strategic partnership, integrating Duranova™ materials with dry molding technology to develop high-end compostable packaging products, further promoting global technological innovation in pulp molding. IPFM 2026 will land in Foshan in October, continuing to lead industry technology and market trends.

Exhibitions in April have sent a clear signal: intelligence, green development and high-value upgrading have become the mainstream of pulp molding equipment. The industry is accelerating toward high-end and international development, injecting strong momentum into the upgrading of the eco-friendly packaging industry.
